Information We Collect

JAXPORT LMS collects identifying information (name, email, phone), employment context (employer, job title, department, hire date), training activity (enrollments, progress, scores, completions), and authentication metadata. Most of this is provided by you or your employer at account creation; some is generated as you use the platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to deliver assigned training, track regulatory compliance, issue certificates, generate reports for your employer or designated administrators, and send notifications related to assignments and renewals. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Your training records are visible to your employer's designated administrators and managers. Aggregate, de-identified data may be shared with partner organizations or used for compliance reporting. We use a small number of trusted vendors (cloud hosting, email, payment processing) under written data processing agreements.

Public Records

As a Florida state-related entity, certain training records may be subject to public records requests under Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. JAXPORT will redact information not subject to disclosure before responding to any such request.

Retention

Training records are retained according to the State of Florida General Records Schedule and JAXPORT's internal retention schedule. Certificates issued for regulatory compliance training may be retained for the longer of (a) the applicable retention period or (b) the duration of the relevant regulatory requirement.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of information that is not subject to a retention obligation. Contact info@jaxport.com to make a request.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit, encrypted databases, audit logging, and role-based access control. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or email. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
